Leadership in child health through education is central to Johns Hopkins All Children's mission. We believe expert care begins with education. Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is dedicated to providing high quality education to a variety of audiences, including practicing physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, clinical and allied health professionals, and families. We accomplish this mission through the Office of Medical Education, Office of Continuing Medical Education, Clinical Education Department, and Community Education Department.
Graduate Medical Education
The Office of Medical Education residency program trains the next generation of leaders in pediatric clinical care, research and education. The mission of the Office of Medical Education is the pursuit of excellence in the development of new and innovative programs across the continuum of medical education. We seek to build a dynamic community of learners and scholars engaged in the daily excitement of learning, teaching, researching and practicing medicine. In addition, we offer an intersessions program to guide medical students through some of the challenges that all students face as they look to the future.
The Office of Continuing Medical EducationCách làm cho đĩa rung provides a variety of rich educational experiences for physicians as well as affiliated health care professionals following the guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). We offer many live or online CME courses and conferences, including Pediatric Grand Rounds, Regularly Scheduled Series in several specialties, Clinical Updates mini-conferences, as well as intensive multi-day symposia in perinatology, cardiology, general pediatrics, and sleep medicine. These activities provide exceptional learning opportunities for a wide array of practitioners.
Allied Health Professional Education
The Department of Clinical Education and Research collaborates with the Department of Employee Education to ensure a competent, well prepared clinical staff to care for our patients. The Education Specialists provide professional education and clinical in-services for all employees in the Division of Patient Care Services, and others. We are a Florida Board of Nursing Provider for continuing education, and report regularly to CEBroker.
Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is committed to offering quality education to our communityCách làm cho đĩa rung in the areas of child health and safety. Classes include health and safety education for children and their families, parenting skills, child and babysitter safety, weight management for children, and other classes for children of all ages and their parents. Classes are conducted throughout the year at the Hospital, in schools, and at other designated locations.
Summer Student Research Training Program: Clinical and Translational Research Pathway
The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Summer Student Research Training Program, Clinical and Translational Research Pathway, develops and mentors passionate students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels on a career trajectory of a research professional or investigator in clinical and translational research, by providing a mentored hands-on experience coupled with a didactic curriculum.
Student Research Training Program: Basic Research Pathway
The Johns Hopkins All Children's Student Research Training Program, Basic Research PathwayCách làm cho đĩa rung, develops and mentors passionate students and trainees age 16 or older at the high school, undergraduate and graduate levels on a career trajectory of a research professional or investigator in basic research, by providing a mentored hands-on experience.
Medical ExplorersCách làm cho đĩa rung is a program offered by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital to young men and women in grades 10th – 12th with an interest in learning more about careers in the health care field. Accepted students will attend monthly sessions where they will get the opportunity to speak with residents and attending physicians about medical education, visit departments within the hospital, and listen to doctors, nurses and other health care professionals about their jobs.
